The 14th Sino-German Media Roundtable "Qingbaijiang Dialogue", hosted by the Global Times, was held in Qingbaijiang District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, from September 16th to 18th. Nearly 100 participants, including heads of Chinese and German mainstream media, famous journalists, columnists and representatives of young German students, had an in-depth exchange of views on the opportunities for German and European companies brought about by the rise of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle, the 10th anniversary of "the Belt and Road" Initiative, as well as the promotion of the economic globalization by the China-EU shuttle train.
This "Qingbaijiang Dialogue" is the first time that the Sino-German Media Roundtable has been held offline after the epidemic. The organizers said that in the past 14 years, through the platform set up by the Sino-German Media Roundtable, the media of the two countries have maintained high-level communication, strengthened mutual trust between the media and enhanced cultural exchanges.
