On the 23rd, the Fifth National Forum on CPC. History and Documentation opened in Jinan, Shandong Province. Guided by XiJinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the forum was themed "Implementing the 'Regulations on the Work of Party History Learning and Education' and Advancing the High-Quality Development of Party History Learning and Education." It was co-hosted by the Party History and Documentation Research Institute of the CPC Central Committee and the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China.
Over 100 experts and scholars from across the country engaged in in-depth discussions on a series of important theoretical and practical issues related to Party history learning and education. Through exchanges and deliberations, the forum further deepened the systematic understanding of the "Regulations on the Work of Party History Learning and Education," consolidated and expanded the achievements of Party history learning and education, and strengthened the sense of mission and responsibility in advancing Party history and documentation work in the new era. Since its inception in 2012, the forum has played a positive role in strengthening the systematic and theoretical research on XiJinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, deepening the interpretation and application of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourses on Party history, summarizing and exploring the laws governing Party history and documentation work in the new era, and promoting the normalization and long-term effectiveness of Party history learning and education.
